About Me

People would describe me as bubbly and fun! I have been working in education for the last 10 years, 8 years of which was spent working within the Special Educational Needs environment. I predominantly worked within Early Years and Key Stage 1 but I have had experience in all other year groups. Within my various leadership roles, I have led on subjects such as PSHE, Humanities, Phonics, and run departments including EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

I believe learning should be an enjoyable experience, with hands-on experiences. All children are different, needing different care and approaches to their education. Learning should be fun, aimed towards your children's interests and hobbies. Helping children achieve their own goals, one small step at a time is such an amazing feeling!

There isn’t enough words to describe what an amazing and patient teacher Becky is. She worked with my son who has a diagnosis of severe autism. He had very limited speech and was reluctant to do anything. After going to Becky his speech come on and he engaged in every activity with her. She spent time to make that bond with him and made learning fun. She catered to his needs. He was always happy to see her and without her I honestly believe he wouldn’t be where he is now. As a parent I also felt at ease with Becky and had no concerns in what she was doing. I didn’t feel judged and she treated us all with respect and she was part of the family. She’s played a huge role in my sons learning and nothing fazed her. I owe so much to Becky. She saw the potential in my son when health professionals wrote him off.
Any child would be lucky to have Becky. She sees the potential and doesn’t give up.
